Personalize your own baby gift basket
- First pick out a basket, it could be a wicker basket, a small laundry basket or even a baby bathtub.
- The next thing you want to do is cover the item with a baby blanket, receiving blanket or colorful tissue paper.
- Next choose a theme that you think will go well with the baby shower, like a boys blue theme, a girls pink theme, a stork theme or a jungle theme, you can find ideas for baby shower themes here.
- Start by adding your biggest item in the middle, like a Teddy bear, a stork, a toy you purchased or a couple of baby books.
- Then fill the surrounded area with baby necessities, rolled up onesies, small soft toys, DVD's, CD's, baby soft books, keepsakes, baby bath item, lotions, shampoos and items that are practical like pacifiers, nail clippers, thermometers, baby bottles and do not take them out of their packages.
- Add a balloon filled with helium in the back somewhere to add volume, the size would depend on the size of your basket.
- Add a huge bow and ribbon in the front of your middle, large item.
- Wrap your entire basket with cellophane which you will find on a roll at your nearest craft store like Michael's then close with a twist tie and adorn with ribbon and bows.
